Organ-Pipe Coral, are of a genys of marine animals of the class Anthozoa (phylum Cnidaria). The single know species, Tubipora Musica, occurs on reefs in shallow waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans and is characterised by long, parallel upright polyps, or stalks, supported by a skeleton of rigid tubes of calcium carbonate. The tentacles of the polyps are sometimes green, and the skeleton is bright red or crimson. After the soft parts die, the skeleton rmains as a brightly coloured mass of tubes that resemble organ pipes (hence the common name).
Our ARTIFICIAL CORAL is made from polyurethane, and is completely non-toxic to all types of fresh or saltwater aquarium environments. The poly-resin allows the coral cluster to be flexible and resilient to damage that other corals may break under. It also can be mounted on a platform, used as a decoration in an underwater themed bedroom or bathroom, or in an ocean themed succulent display in your living room!
